The USA is the third-largest country in the world and a destination for everyone.

The country boasts iconic cities such as New York, Las Vegas and Los Angeles along with stunning natural landscapes, retail therapy for the high-end shoppers and great deals for the bargain hunters.

The cuisine is as diverse as the scenery and the population.

The US is a big country and the climate between regions differs substantially from freezing to extreme heat.

Generally, the best time to visit is between June and August when the weather is at its best, although this can also be the most expensive time to visit.

New York — The Big Apple

The wonders of this city include a diversity of cultures, attractions and entertainment that will exceed your expectations.

With its breathtaking skyline, stroll down Fifth Avenue to find an array of boutiques and stores or sample the international gourmet flavours in one of the city’s many restaurants.

From the glitter of Broadway and Times Square to Rockerfeller Center and Central Park, from the Empire State Building to the Statue of Liberty, New York offers many memorable experiences. If you have time, add a day or two to and visit Niagara Falls or go south to Philadelphia and experience Amish country.

Las Vegas — The City of Lights

This is the city that never sleeps, offering 24 hours of non-stop entertainment.

Enjoy this city’s extraordinary restaurants, fantastic shopping, animated nightlife, outstanding musicals and productions unlike any in the world. Or you might like to try your hand at a few of the casino tables.

Not only is Las Vegas known for its glitz and glamour but a day trip to the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon is also a must.

San Francisco — Bay City

This is a diverse town with a rich art scene, great shopping and bustling nightlife. It is also home to the Golden Gate Bridge and has a great range of activities.

Explore the dark past of Alcatraz or jump on a historic cable car and dine at Fisherman’s Wharf, famous for its fresh seafood. Surrounding San Francisco are places such as the Napa wine region or Yosemite National Park, which can be reached by hire car or on escorted day tours.

Los Angeles — City Of Angels

Given its lively atmosphere, enviable coastal location and great climate, it is no surprise that LA is the US’s second-largest city and it is the perfect place for celebrity spotting.

With Universal Studios and Anaheim just down the road, it is a great holiday spot for families.

Or take a day trip to some of the famous beaches such as Santa Monica, Venice Beach or Malibu.

Personalise your holiday with a self-drive adventure.

Los Angeles to San Francisco is a great way to discover the stunning coastline.

Try the western wine trail inland from Seattle to San Francisco or perhaps the legendary Route 66 from Chicago to Los Angeles.
