"Heaven in the Hills... an extraordinary garden in a breathtakingly beautiful setting"

Two of Western Australia’s most talented blues musicians are to play Valentines Day Blues in the beautiful setting of Araluen Botanic Park, and this year families are encouraged to bring along the kids.

Araluen Botanic Park general manager Grant Nixon said it promises to be a very special night with a line up of quality local talent. With the magical feel of Araluen’s amphitheatre setting, little wonder this stands as arguably one of the most intimate music settings in Western Australia.

And with free entry for children, this makes a great way for families to enjoy not only the music, but the beauty of Araluen Botanic Park as the sun goes down. Guests are encouraged to come early from 5:00pm onwards and enjoy a sunset picnic or BBQ.

Admission is only $20 per adult with proceeds going towards restoration of the gardens. Hot foods, soft drinks, tea and coffee will be available at the venue.

Of course, any time is a great time to visit Araluen Botanic Park. It’s open every day from 9am to 6pm. Modest entry fees apply. With spectacular running water all year round, beautifully scenic bush walks, stunning gardens, heritage structures and the Chalet Healy Log Cabin Tearooms, BBQs and picnic areas there’s plenty to do and see.
