With an already busy schedule and a list of high-profile presenting gigs under her belt, model and TV personality Rachael Finch is thrilled to put her best fashion foot forward as Myer’s newest ambassador.

Having already worked alongside some of her fellow ambassadors, including the face of Myer Jennifer Hawkins, the 26-year-old former Miss Universe Australia has likened her addition to the Myer team to that of joining a tight-knit family.

“I know all of the ambassadors really well, which is exciting. I feel like I’m joining a group of friends or my family, ” Finch, right, told AAA Weekend.

“I’m completely overwhelmed and over the moon. I keep pinching myself; it’s so nice to be a part of such an iconic brand.”

The model-turned-presenter has cemented herself on to the Aussie small screen with her charm and natural ease reporting on world-renowned events such as the Australian Open, the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival and a number of fashion and lifestyle programs.

But despite the new addition to an already heavy workload, Finch revealed she thrived on maintaining a healthy balance between her career and her family of husband Michael Miziner and 14-month-old daughter Violet.

“Balance is definitely the key, you’ve got to go to bed knowing exactly what you’ll be doing the next day; there are no relaxing moments, ” Finch said with a laugh.

“But I love the challenge of time management. Before I started working as a model 10 years ago, event management was a big passion of mine. I’m fortunate that Myer understands I have a family and it all needs to work together.”

Finch joined Myer in time for the department store’s highly anticipated 2015 Autumn Winter fashion launch. And with her keen eye for the latest trends, the fashionista has declared grey will be the colour to wear this new season.

“Grey is going to be a big thing, in all different cuts and fabrics, and I’m really looking forward to embracing it, ” she explained.
