Smart Homes for Living has released a new version of its iDesign program.

First released in 2013, the innovative tool allows people to design their new home online and receive a quote within 24 hours.

Jon Greshon, Smart Homes for Living’s sales and marketing manager, said the technology revolutionised the homebuying experience and the updated version allowed clients to do even more.

“We wanted to put the fun back into buying a home, ” Mr Greshon said. “The old way of buying can be tedious, often leaving clients feeling helpless and bored.

“iDesign is a step forward in home building for the next generation. It puts clients in the driver’s seat so they can take charge of personalising their home design to suit their needs. We think it’s a truly smarter way to build.”

Compatible with any device including PCs, laptops, tablets and smart phones, iDesign lets users select an elevation, choose the layout they want, then add their choice of common upgrades and receive a quote within a day.

Mr Greshon said iDesign was easy to use and could potentially save clients thousands of dollars.

The iDesign is available at smarthomesforliving.com.au. It can also be accessed in special hubs at all Smart Homes displays.
