Acton has launched a new strata- management arm on the back of Perth’s growing penchant for apartment and multi-dwelling developments.

“Strata management is a very specialised field that can cause confusion in the general marketplace and the growth in strata schemes has prompted the need for a dedicated division to focus on this area of the market, ” Acton director Travis Coleman said.

“With 25 per cent of land transactions in WA being subject to strata schemes (according to Landgate), more developers, investors and homebuyers are finding themselves dealing with strata and, if they’ve never encountered strata before, all the associated costs and legalities can come as a bit of a surprise.”

Acton Strata will be headed by husband-and-wife team Doug and Yvonne Harwood, who bring almost 40 years of combined experience in the strata management and real estate industries.

Acton Strata will be based at C&R House, 191-193 Stirling Highway in Nedlands.
