Apartments heading for Eaton

Not-for-profit aged care and retirement living provider Bethanie has released plans to build apartment blocks at its Bethanie Esprit site in Eaton.

The new development will comprise 26 independent-living apartments in two buildings, with construction expected to start midyear and be done by late 2016.

Each contemporary-styled apartment will feature two bedrooms, a full-sized bathroom and kitchen, laundry, big living areas and one covered car bay.

Some apartment configurations will also have semi-ensuite access from both bedrooms to the bathroom.

A 24-hour monitored emergency call system and European appliances are also part of the high-quality fit-out.

Residents will also have access to the recently built clubhouse, which will form the heart of the South West development.

It includes a bowling green, golf putting course, courtyard, barbecue area and a heated swimming pool and there is also a workshop nearing completion.

The village, which is just 200m from Bethanie Fields, is also close to medical facilities, shopping facilities, beaches and public transport.
