Sydney men's accessories label Huxby Haberdashery, recently launched a custom made service that lets grooms design their own ties, bow ties and pocket squares.
Style restrictions are no more, as the team at Huxby will make you a set of accessories in your wedding colours, so you get exactly what you want.
“You can custom make your wedding dress, so why not customise your groom’s wedding ties?” says Emily Revell, founder of the local label which launched in late 2014.
“I noticed several friends struggled to match their groom and groomsmen’s ties to their bridesmaids dresses, so the idea came about to create a service that’s quite unique”.
Huxby will colour match a bridesmaids dress or any other item in your wedding and print their fabric to order (in your choice of a number of plain or patterned designs). With a minimum of just 4 pieces, it's not hard to meet that quota when you’ve got ties, bow ties and pocket squares to source for the groom and his trusty sidekicks. They are also able to make little boys bow ties to match.
If you have time constraints and are unable to wait for a custom designed item Huxby have also a range of ready to wear pieces available too.
With operations solely online, every Huxby item is made in Australia. “We spent months searching for the best local suppliers, and found talent in Melbourne and Sydney that allowed us to produce at home” says Revell.
